Our process of coconut oil extraction is divided into:

  • a) Collection of fruits from the plantation
  • b) Check coconuts collected at the processing site in a few hours
  • c) Selection of the fruits and separating those unfit for oil production
  • d) Decortication of coconuts (separation of the nut or pulp from integument and from pericarp)
  • e) Emptying of watery residues
  • f) Dry the nut or pulp in purified water with addition of salt in the maximum percentage of 0.5% compared to the volume of water
    • f.1) For the production of coconut oil from copra it proceeds to drying of the nut or Pulp
  • g) Grinding of the nut or pulp
    • g.1) For the production of coconut oil from copra we proceed to pressing of the nut or hot pulp (max 42 ° C)
    • g.2) For the fresh coconut oil production proceeds to pressing of the nut or cold Pulp
  • h) Post-grinding drying with controlled temperature so as not to alter the original properties (max 45°C)
  • i) filtering the oil cold pressed through impurities in natural fabric filters and activated carbon filters
  • j) quality control batch and packaging
